Having been married for almost a year, my Wife and I decided on celebrating our anniversary by going on a trip to Italy. I will be honest, my wife planned over 99% of the trip. As a business analyst she knows how to be very thorough and created an itinerary that allowed us to see all the different sides of Italy and what it has to offer. Below is an outline of the places we saw and what we did.

Overall the trip was amazing, considering how much we covered in a short amount of time. We experienced the city life as well as life in the coastal towns. We tried authentic dishes, including pesto from where it was originated! My recommendations for planning a trip like this are to do day tours when possible, the convenience and experiences definitely outweigh the cost.
